Wonderful breakfasts, with salmon and also mostly Japanese food. Central heating, flat-screen TV and a safe box in the room and the very comfy bed. Favourable and excellent location near delicious restaurant, easy to get anywhere. Also - really close to the river and very comfortable beds and the shopping streets...

Everything was nice, so were pleasant views over the sea. I was here for 1 night and ate at attached restaurant which serves mostly Japanese food. I got essential facilities, like central heating, an individual safe and a flat-screen TV. It offered great service and outstanding food too.

This hotel is perfectly located right in front of the canal, offering a beautiful view that you can enjoy from your room. The rooms themselves are spacious and modern, with comfy double beds and a variety of lighting options to create different moods. The attention to detail is evident, from the amenities provided like a fridge and air purifier, to the little touches like a higher bathroom basin and plenty of hangers. Additionally, the staff here cater well to foreign guests, making you feel welcome and well taken care of.
All was great, nothing needs improvement.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff very polite, favourable location to those souvenir shops. I got very very good breakfasts with mostly Japanese food and salmon, for example. Location: the property was next to nearby restaurants, and Otaru. A few times I ate at Masazushi Zenan, located relatively close to the hotel.
Shame the bathroom was a bit small.

The room is small and stuffy. The hotel is located next to a busy road and thus opening the window means putting up with traffic noise through out the night. The sofabed sinks in the middle and provides no support for the back.

The hotel had an absolutely stunning view of the canal. In the evenings, we enjoyed walking down the canal in snow showers. The distance to the famous Shofukuya shop that sold delicious panjyu and hokkaido milk ice cream was not too far. The breakfast was excellent and offered a great variety of food. the modern facilities in the room like a fridge, jug, and air purifier were very convenient.
The parking arrangement could be better considering the lack of a driveway or parking area in front of the hotel to unload luggage from a car.
